Brazil Installation and Training Service in May, 2016

Lisun engineer visited Brazil in May, 2016. This Brazil trip is mainly to visit our customer LABORATORIOS BRUCH LTDA . This customer is a research and development company, they are developing the lighting market in Brazil. They bought many LED Test Instruments this time, such as LSG-1700B High Precision Rotation Luminaries Goniophotometer.

Lisun engineer visit at Saudi Arabia on the September

After finished the Europe customer’s installation and training mission at the end of August, Lisun engineer fly to Saudi Arabia to do local customer’s training service. This Saudi Arabia customer purchased full set of LPCE-2(LMS-9000A) high precision CCD spectroradiometer & 2m integrating sphere system from us, and this customer mainly to do electrical product business, now they also to do part of LED lighting business for local market. The following is some training photos at customer side:

Standard LM-79 and LM-80 comparison

IES LM-79-08 Approved Method: Electrical and Photometric Measurements of Solid-State Lighting Products. IES LM-79 standard is mainly for photoelectric performance measurement. Generally it is for whole lamp. Main measurement parameters as follow: Electrical Measurement: Voltage, Current, Power and Power Factor. Colorimetric Measurement: CCT, CRI and Chromaticity Coordinates Photometric Measurement: Luminous Flux and Luminous Efficiency Integrating Sphere System can measure upper parameters, but integrating sphere system cannot measure luminous intensity distribution. Luminous intensity distribution is measured by Goniophotometer. IES LM-79 emphatically compares the total luminous [...]

The main differences between the LED drive standards ANSI / UL8750 and EN61347-2-13

In recent years, many manufacturers are planning to manufacture common global LED drive products with a wide voltage input. But since different countries have different product standards, it results in some difficulties and obstacles in the design and production. This article compares and analyzes the differences of LED driver design and test safety standards between the North American ANSI / UL 8750 standard, and European EN 61347-2-13 (to be used with EN61347-1) standard. 1. The differences in standards: 1) Products The title [...]

The Definition and Test Requirements of RF LED Lights

Definition of RF LED lights: RF LED light is emitting diode by converting the RF energy into light energy. LED lights are not always RF LED lights, for example, if the maximum working frequency of LED light is less than 9kHz, such as light with non-light source or directly supplied by DC power source (no drive power module), then it is not regarded as RF LED light. RF LED lights certification and testing requirements: Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a KDB [...]

UV-C LED Prospect

With LED technology development, LED applications in market are more and more wide. UV-C LED germicidal disinfection applications market also reaches a new height in 2016, prospects are bright. With more and more LED companies launch new products, UV-C LED technology will also develop faster. Wavelength of 200~280nm UV part is called UV-C region; this region UV wavelength is short and has high energy. UV-C wavelength light has a great destructive effect on the body’s bacteria, viruses and micro-organisms. Sterilization [...]

The Differences between LED and OLED

LED adopts metal material, however, OLED uses organic material. Their emitting principles are the same, the difference is that OLED does not need backlight, because it is composed of light-emitting diode array and it can emitting itself. It is brighter and thinner than LED LCD display, and it will become an alternate of LED LCD display in the future. LED LCD display needs backlight. Its brightness is common, and displays unclearly under sunlight, but it is the most widely [...]
